Our group promotes the high potential of fused 3D data visualising, underlining an innovative software architecture that enables real-time, practical visualisation of a medical databases. Moreover, the manipulation of simultaneous 3D reconstructions allows better clinical interpretation of complex and specific 3D medical data. Our protocols can be adapted in different disciplines, not only improving surgical planning for medical professionals but also enhancing surgical training and thereby increasing the surgical competence of future generations.
