{"id":348,"date":"2017-03-24T07:29:16","date_gmt":"2017-03-24T07:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fast.hevs.ch:3001\/?page_id=348"},"modified":"2026-03-10T12:35:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T12:35:08","slug":"chorus","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/medgift.hevs.ch\/wordpress\/projects\/past-projects\/chorus\/","title":{"rendered":"Chorus+"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Coordinated approacH to the EurOpean effoRt on aUdio-visual Search engines<\/h2>\n<p><strong>CHORUS+ is a Coordinative Action which objectives is to coordinate national and international projects and initiatives in the Search-engine domain and to extend this Coordination in non-European countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CHORUS+ works on the following key questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the integration and strengthening of a single European research area by stimulating interaction and co-ordination among research projects at the EU level in the area of audio-visual search engines.<\/li>\n<li>Extend cooperation and coordination to Asian countries (Japan, Singapore and China) and, if applicable, to the USA, since the topic of multimedia search engine represents a global concern today which needs a wider cooperation scope than European frontiers.
