This paper discusses our development of a novel prototype evaluation technique; the Activity Evaluation Framework (AEF). AEF is informed by a sociological orientation, Ethnomethodology and uses video in the analysis of participants&#8217; &#8216;talk-in-interaction&#8217; as they interact with technology.
