We have four papers accepted at SPIE Medical Imaging 2012:

“Cerebellum detection using 3D wavelet texture classification” from Antonio Foncubierta-Rodríguez, Adrien Depeursinge and Henning Müller.

“Synchronized slice viewing of similar image series” from Sharib Ali, Antonio Foncubierta-Rodríguez, Adrien Depeursinge, Fabrice Meriaudeau, Osman Ratib and Henning Müller.

“Multi-scale visual words for hierarchical medical image categorization” from Dimitrios Markonis, Alba García Seco de Herrera, Ivan Eggel and Henning Müller. 

“Creating a classification of image types in the medical literature for visual categorization” from Henning Müller, Jayashree Kalpathy-Cramer, Dina Demner-Fushman and Sameer Antani.

ImageCLEF 2011 took place during CLEF 2011 at Amsterdam on the 19.9.2011-22.9.2011. Oral presentations and demos at the ImageCLEF sessions of CLEF 2011 are available here.

Adrien Depeursinge is the recipient of the GMDS Förderpreis for the best PhD thesis in medical informatics. The PhD thesis entitled “Affine–invariant texture analysis and retrieval of 3D medical images with clinical context integration” is available here.
